So what is wrong with a few "Turquoise Moments"?

My husband recently told me, "You have a turquoise moment about every 4 to 5  months!".
I have to admit, I was a little defensive.
We moved to our new house in November. No turquoise has really entered the decorating theme...yet.
We are in a rental. My dream is that some day he will let us buy it...
for now; the kitchen is covered in what looks like shellaced brown paper sacks (which we have permission to take down and paint, thank goodness), spanish dark stained cabinets, and avacado green laminate counter and back splash.
This is what I want to do:


  Colors Avacado Green, Chili Red, and Peacock Blue (aka Turquoise)



 So what do you think? What's wrong with "a turquoise moment"?
